Straps
Straps at North Moor are an important design choice. We currently offer:
Shoulder Straps 3/4”, 1”, 1.25”, 1.5” ($55)
Fixed Length or Detachable, Adjustable Crossbody in 3/4”, 1”, 1.25” and 1.5”. ($65) The 1”-1.5” straps have 4 lines of stitching and come with the hardware listed in the hardware section of this site. Most cow leathers are eligible provided they are between 2 - 3oz. (.8 to 1.3mm) Over 3 oz is too thick
Braided Crossbody Strap 1”($65) Shoulder 1” ($55) which can come in various lengths and leathers to be paired with your bag. This is a one layer strap and thus must be of adequate thickness. Ideally it should be between 6-8 oz. NM is currently sourcing leathers. Please inquire.
Inlaid Strap 1.5” ($75) is a strap where there is a base leather with an accent or corresponding leather is sewn on top. The thickness prevents this strap from being an adjustable strap however in most cases a fixed length crossbody can be created.
North Moor doesn’t usually keep straps in stock but rather we make them one by one with the bags. However, on occasion we will have an in-stock strap sale event which will be advertised both on the website and the social accounts.
COLLECTIVES: All Collective bags must have a strap. You can add up to 2 styles of straps to your Collective (Shoulder, Crossbody, braided etc) Members may choose one or both styles to their order. Dimensions of each style must be the same.
** Crossbody and simple shoulder straps can have the standard 4 lines of stitching or a more simple two lines on the edges.
Grab Straps for designing Collectives and Customs
Fixed Length or Detachable, 3/4”, 1” ($50)
Braided Grab Strap ($50) which can come in various lengths and leathers to be paired with your bag. This is a one layer strap and thus must be of adequate thickness. Current colors from left to right: Mohogany Latigo (9oz), Tan Latigo (9 oz), Whiskey Cow (8oz), Havana Cow (8oz), Blonde Cow (8oz), Crazy Horse (oiled) Cow, Black Oiled Cow (6 oz)
Satchel Strap ($50) Typically made of mid-weight leather, permanent and folded at the top. Available for Crossover, Cedarwood E/W, and the Osprey.

For Collectives: Grab straps count as one of your two styles of straps. Except for the Osprey, which can have Grab handles and two other styles if you wish.
